BLIND BUYING PERFUME - Purchasing a fragrance without having sampled or skin tested it first. Ideally, it is best for you to try a fragrance before committing to it. There really is no comparison to sampling perfume on your skin and giving it a full wear test. This is especially true if you are considering a purchase of a perfume that you would consider pricey. Many people believe it to be a bad idea to blind buy perfume. Although I understand the reasoning behind this, it's not always possible to sample a scent before purchasing. If you live in a metro area, you will have access to department stores, beauty boutiques and/or perfumeries. In this case, it is convenient to go into the store and try a few fragrances. Should you reside in a more rural area where you are hours away from the closest retailer, blind buying may be your easiest, and sometimes your only option.
